“Finding SAND has been amazing for my son. Post 16 provisions of this kind are extremely difficult to find.
We travel nearly an hour to get to the college where our son feels supported, cared for and his development is bespoke to him.
The staff are absolutely brilliant, kind and accepting of all needs. I cannot recommend this college highly enough!”

“I’ve been attending here and It’s honestly one of the best educational places I've been. The staff are all super supportive and are able to help provide the support I need when I’m struggling.
I’ve learnt a lot here and I feel like I get the help I need and I’m not rushed at all.
Arguably one of the best colleges in the worthing area, plus the food in the cafe is delicious!”

“My niece has been attending SAND since a not so good experience at college and has flourished. They have given her lots of opportunities to find her thing and are always happy to help and to listen.
I have been to several events they have held that showcase what the students do and make and its been brilliant. Love the fact the students also run the cafe as always nice to pop in for a coffee and a brownie (which are the best) and you can peruse items for sale that the students have made. Keep up the good work!!”

“Through gentle and person focused encouragement and direction, SAND helps trainees develop skills and the confidence to try new opportunities. It also strengthens their social skills and understanding of themselves which makes them a lot more prepared for adult life.
Our son has only been at SAND for a term and the change in him has been remarkable.”

“Well I thought, after a bad experience at a college there wasn’t going to be much for my daughter to attend, then, The SAND Project happened. They have been utterly amazing, they have listened to me and most of all my daughter. They have given her opportunities that I never thought would happen, she’s now growing and flourishing. The staff are always on hand to listen and help. I can’t thank them enough. I love the way they have combined working in the cafe and other classes to boost all these young people’s confidence. Keep up the amazing work you do!”
